The Statera Oval Ergonomic Chair seat is designed as a mix of a traditional seat and a saddle seat. This makes the chair comfortable in a variety of working positions.

Statera has been developed over many decades for long and demanding working days. The patented seat provides perfect pressure relief, without pressure on thighs and hips. The angle of the seat opens the angle of the pelvis. This free airways and a reduction in static tension in the back, neck and shoulders - you sit relaxed and controlled in a natural position with upper body balance. The model comes with a choice of two different backs, Core or Oval. The Core backrest is designed to wrap around the spine and the Oval backrest provides spine support.

Controls for adjusting the height and seating angle are located under the seat.

Sustainability and Design

When Support Design talk about posture, it's not just about sitting and standing. It is our stance on health, body, mind and environment. A positive stance means that we work for a better environment both internally and externally as well as for an improved global climate.

All our manufacturing, from cutting, sewing, cladding and assembly, takes place in our factory in Sunne in Värmland. We use sustainable textiles and recycle materials and metals. But mainly we focus on making chairs that last a long time, so that you do too.

- We use Scandinavian leather by environmentally certified manufacturer
- Polyamide frames are made with CFC, HCFC-free manufacturing
- The metal gas pillar is maintenance-free and recyclable
- The foot cross is made from recyclable aluminium

As part of our sustainability plan, we work towards our products becoming "Möbelfakta" certified – a requirement specification for furniture from a not-for-profit company owned by IVL Svenska Miljöinstitutet and Trä- och Möbelföretagen, TMF.

5 Year Warranty
We offer a 5-year warranty on all our chairs, as we place such emphasis on quality and craftsmanship. If your chair is no longer functional within that time frame, please contact us and we will help you. The exception is if the chair has been subjected to neglect or unnatural use, or if an accident occurred after you have received your chair.
